Asus unveils its conceptual motherboard Marine Cool at CeBIT 2009.

The front features a metal heat-pipe module to provide exceptional heat transference and dissipation for core components. This motherboard features a built-in server-standard Failover Memory (under the flower shaped object) which guarantees system boot, regardless of incompatible or faulty memory. The backplate makes full use of micro-porous ceramic technology to provide a larger surface area for facilitating heat away from the PCB for highly effective thermal dissipation.

Besides, an on-board UPS (uninterruptible power supply) is offered to avert damage from unexpected blackouts.

We have to say Marine Cool is really a revolutionary creation. Is it going to be the model of upcoming motherboards? Well, time will tell anyway.
